Amaya walked through the fields and took a deep breath. Walking over the bridge and looking down at the Koi fish she noticed something was different. There seemed to be more. Amaya giggled to herself knowing that new Koi fishes have been born. Amaya stopped at the top and watched them swim and play.

((hey there! Sorry I havent been on in a really long time. Ive had so many things going on that i couldnt keep up with the site- BUT IM BACK! ;D    ))) Dark was walking about the fields when he saw Amaya. He stared for a minute- he behind her from afar. His violet eyes watched quietly. Putting his hands in his pockets he sighed, turned away and walked off down the hill that had the estate ontop. He walked down until the grass grew very tall, up to his knees was the soft delecate grass. Dark just fell to his side on his own will. He lay there, his eyes deep in thought. Rolling over to his back, his arms spread apart- legs relaxed, he looked up at the sky. He looked so sad. When the wind blew, it swayed his purple hair along with the grass. Dark mumbled to himself and smacked the palm of his head against his forehead. He let it plop over as it slid off his head and into the dirt and grass again. His thoughts were focused on Amaya. He did not love her anymore, but he thought back to the times when they were together for a little while. He remembered when and how they first met. He always thoght of her has a best friend when their relationship was over- but it was hard for him to communicate with her, let alone anyone except Dauske. "Its as if everyone in this village has some regrets or is in sorrow......" he whispered to himself. He thought of how pure everything was until trouble bubbled its way up. It was like the only people without any relationship troubles were Crono and Amaya. He was a little envious. But he seemed to be the lone wolf of all the friends he had. Dauske and Undine, Amaya and Crono, Yui and Kenshin, and him. He always felt like comitting suicide- but he never had enough intention. He wasnt sad or mad that he didnt have a partner- but some things just confused him. Dark kept speaking to himself, his words barly above a whisper. "How can they all be so happy?" |

Amaya saw something purple in the fields. She knew right away its was Dark. She came and laid next to him in the fields. She looked into his eyes and saw saddness. She hugged him softly as a tear ran down her face.

Dark didn't hear Amaya comming. Nor did he see her lay down next to him. He could feel the hug around him- it was warm and giving. He saw the strands of brown hair blow above his face. He wouldn't forget her. He remembered being happy, and that was a long time ago. Dark hugged Amaya gently, his finger wiping away her tear.
Still looking up, he spoke to her.
"Why are you crying?" He asked
"You're one of the lucky ones. Your life was hard, but it was forgiven.......mine wasn't." It was like someone else was speaking for him- his voice wasn't the same. It sounded it was hiding depression.
"Sometimes I wish I haven't done what I did in the past......and I don't mean what I did in the past two years....."
Dark was referring to about seventy years ago when he fell in love with Rika Harata. She too did not choose him over another man. That shattered Dark's heart- He regretts it because the man she chose over him tried to kill Dauske. Only to protect Dauske, Dark fought that man- and won. He did not kill that man, but Dark takes the blame. After that man got out of the hospital- he got into a car accident and died four days later. Rika never spoke to him again except for one day when she said that she hated him. She blamed him for the death- even when Dark explained the story- she smacked him across the face. Then another two years passed and she saw him. She forgot that she blamed Dark for the death. WIth her casual wave she smiled- but all Dark did was put a wing infront of half of his face- hiding his tears- but still watching her. He only spoke one last thing to her before he flew away: You forget of how much pain you can cause others........you wont regain my trust or friendship:
"But I wonder......." He whispered
"How can you all be so happy...." Dark sighed
"Besides when I was with you, I can't remember when I smiled and did not fake it......"
Dark did not want to worry Amaya, or get her concerned
"I am glad that you are married and happy, but I wonder why I cannot find myself another purpose to live."
Tears began streaming down his face- he was crying.
"I feel so useless....and nobody can relate to the pain I have endured..." he said lowly
Dark hugged Amaya tighter- Though it was hard for him to talk to her, she is probably the only one who can relate even the slightest bit to his life.
"I can't even tell anyone..all they would do is worry and cry...I dont want that.." again he spoke- words in whisper

Amaya kissed the top of Dark's head in a friendly way.
"Dark...please stop crying. There is so much more for you. More you have yet to discover. Yes it is true that I have chosen Chrono over you but now...now you are like the brother I have always wanted. I hate to see you so unhappy. I can tell when you fake your smiles or laughter. It pains me to think that one day you might take your own life or just give up living."
Amaya said while wiping the tears that were slowly falling down Dark's face.
"Though all seems hopless in this time of despair and desperation there is a light coming. And its coming for us."

Dark felt Amaya's fingers wipe away his tears.
Theres more to discover.......
He couldnt think straight. What does she mean? Thers more to discover?
Amaya mentioned that Dark was like the brother she never had. He looked at her, the tears lessening- but still comming.
"Do you really mean that?"
"Amaya, you know about Dauske and myself being of the same. Even if I wanted to die, Dauske would have to suffer. We promised to eachother we wouldnt attempt. He has so much to live for- he is just a young boy who finally has friends who accept him for who he is."
He looked to the sky again.
He smirked for a split second when he sighed. Amaya was right- a light will come for him. But after all these years, one hasnt come.
"If a light were to come, how come it hasnt come yet after all these years?" he asked.
Dark didnt understand why. What had he done that was so wrong? It was because Dark was of the dark side. His powers were not distruction, but from where he came from- darkness was the light, and light was the darkness. So perhaps it is comming? Its confusing either way.
Dark wouldnt admit it- but talking to Amaya was relieving him a lot.

Amaya smiled.
"Don't you see? It started the day we met. Way back then." Amaya giggled rembering how clutzy she was. "Yeah thats right. Thats when it all started."

It was acutally Daisuke who saw Amaya first- when he had trouble keeping Dark within. Amaya and Undine tried to help him because he was choking or someting.
"You sensed another soul in Daisuke. Me. That was how long? About two years ago?" He asked her. Dark was beginning to cheer up.
All those memories were beginniung to return to him. He remembered how clutzy Amaya was. He faced her- and for once smiled
"You were quite a clutz back then, werent you?" He teased
Dark thought about what Amaya said- with the light starting when they met.
"Do you think that light will change for the better, Amaya?" He asked- his smile gone, but in spirit still there.

Dark looked at her with a suspicious face *he was teasing her*
"Oh so im oblivious huh?" He asked,
"Then....umm.....BAAHH I DONT KNOOOOW!" -> his face: -_-''''
"Your not making fun of me are you?" he said, sitting up and stretching. Of course though, he was joking around.
