-kenshin walked out onto the beach after being in the common room he stood there and watched the river-
:: why do you haunt me why is it every where i go i allways see you standing there allways the same smell then alli can do is fall and remember all in my past, is his my way to repent to allways remember the loved onse i have lost no matter where i go you and you both of you the smells the faces the memories i no i shall never forget i no i never will be able to loose you too you both will allways be inside me forever-
-kenshin looked up at the sky it began to rain cold and hard his eyes closed as the rain covered his face-
-kenshin sighed-
-on drop that fell down his face and across his scar was a tear-

-he looked up all the people he new he hated he loved and once knew stood infront of him-
-he saw the two infront of him-

Karou
-he sighed as he saw the others-
Sano
Yahiko
-he smiled as he slowly got up-
-he saw all around him the tons that he had killed in his life-
-all the onse that stood against him and all those that stood beside him-

It was raining while Yui made her way across town. She did not have a jacket. She wore only her normal clothing, and she was soaked to the limit. A few strands of hair dangled infront of her face. It was like time was against her.
"God.......again im here in teh rain..." she said to herself along with a few choice words to sware about.

As she made her way to the mansion, she stopped by the beach. The sky was a dull grey and there was no sun....everyhting cast into darkness with grey backgrounds. A lone figure stood facing the water.
".....who is that?" she wispered to herself, slowly walking from the sidewalk to the grass then sand.
The closer she drew to teh character, the more she recognized.

Standing only a few feet behind him, Yui had a gentle fist over her heart, with a concerned face, her eyes emerald green (color of worry). Many raindrops ran down her face, none of tears, as she quietly called his name with slight hesitation. She waited for her responce as her quiet voice seemed to shatter the sound of the rain.

"...H-....Himura...?"

[Cloud Strife]

-kenshin stood there the rain falling down his face his eyes flickered turning an amber colour his face from destroyed to emotionless-
"i meade it rain.... rain blood"

[Yui Soto]

Seeing Kenshin's eyes flash amber worried her. She was scared.

".....Its me....Yui..." she said, trying to reach Kenshin
"....Himura, please. Dont let the manslayer win..."
It wasnt working, no matter how her words echoed around the area, it seemed nothing would get through.

Would he attack her? What would she do if he did......
Yui wouldnt let the manslayer kill her, or let Kenshin suffer the consiquences.
A spell! If he attacks....i willl use Matsu to restrain him...then..ill....do something!......i dont know what else to do!

Yui had only seen him manslayer once, and that was when she was going to comitt suicide. Besides that, she never saw him with the amber eyes.

Yui hesitantly took a step back, incase she had to run.
She drew her mithril elbow blades incase she needed to defend herself.

[Cloud Strife]

-kenshins eyes faded and amber took over-
-kenshin leaned up as his fist clenched-
-darkness took over for several minuits he stood in silance as he pulled his fist back and fast and strongly thrust it into his face his nose bleeding he pulled back his arm and kenshins eyes had returned-

[Yui Soto]

Though Yui had seen Kenshin become battousai for a split second before, she knew this time it was different for he was struggeling more to keep control. He was just like her......

With a gulp, she took another step back in fear. He was loosing to the manslayer. SHe did not want to stay and risk hurting herself. But she did not want to hurt Kenshin's feelings if she did run, and he returned. She shiethed her blades, and tried to overcome herself. There was a decision to be made: Risking her life, or hurting Kenshin's heart for a while.......

The choice Yui made was odboius, but she didnt move from her spot.

-kenshin stood in silance for moments before he moved-
-he looked up and said-

With a deep breath, Yui raised her left hand toward the sky, and her right one out beside her.
Using not a Lotis or Maram word, she used her own spell. Before she said the spell, she looked into Kenshins eyes with sadness and fear.

" Forgive me...." She said, just loud enough for him to hear her.

The rain drenched Yui's hair, skin, and cloths. She hated to hurt someone in any way if she could avoid it. At the bottom of her heart she believed Kenshin would understand.

"...Hokia..."((Disappear)) She whispered to herself.
A pure light blue light flickered from her finger as it spread around her. With a small flash, Yui completely vanished. She was now a long way down the beach, next to a large boulder that eclipsed her out of Kenshin's vision. She sat there, hugging her knees, trying to keep silent. After a few moments, she realized she was crying, then stood and ran as far away from the beach as she could. Her heart ached. It felt someone just snatched her life right out of her.

Everyone tells me that they would risk their life for their loved one.......what are you supposed to do when the one you love has an alter ego....Im so confuzed....I love Himura so much, but i cant be near him with the Battousai nearby as well.....Kenshin even told me that the battousai killed his loved ones too......

she was doubting herself. the small waves on the beach did not cover or erase her footprints no matter how many times they ran over the indents in the sand. It was if earth was telling Kenshin to follow.....

"I'm sorry..." kept escaping Yui's lips as she ran toward the forest, trying to clear her mind at the same time. She tripped on her own feet, scraping her hands on the broken shells. She got up hastily and kept running. She felt terrible for hurting Kenshin like that, but this was just a confusion that Yui couldn't handle.

[Cloud Strife]

-kenshin saw her running-

-he pushed off with his left foot he seemed to disapear but he was using his god like speed to chase after her, he passed her skiding infront of her-
-he stoped and looked to her-
do not fear the battosai he is me i am him he was the old self the killer
i am the rounin the non killer
he comes out only when he needs to
i can control him but
its not so easy
-he turned-

because he is me and i am him we are one in same its just i locked my anger and killing instincts away
i admit i blame my self for tomoes death for it was by my hand she died
that was when killing became so bad i feel into madness after gaining control i killed thousands an army my enemy brining the meji era to japan the moment the battle was over i left my sword and the battosai behind i have only became him a few times when i have had no choise or when my anger has taken over

Yui herd all of Kenshin's words. They sank in but she did not care. Wiping her now almost gone tears, she looked at him sternly.
"How!" she said, her hands in fists at her side

"You say it isnt easy controling the battousai within you, just as I have trouble controling Yoka within me. I love you as much as you love me! Its hard! You said Tomo died in your hands and you blamed yourself."

She pointed a finger at him, and glared.
"I love you, but i will not let the one man who loves me back kill me! I've lived a long hard life, and the only happiness that I have will not finish me off!"

Yui's emotions were overpowering her maram words.
She shouted one at Kenshin, regretting as soon as the words escaped her mouth.

"VINA!" (Rejection)
Those words shattered the rain like a blade cutting a thin hair. The clouds poured the drops harder and harder, as Yui's hands glowed a brilliant blue. Turning her face away from Kenshin, an unbelieveable power was released. The earth began to shake as the wind howeld in pain and agony.

Thin but strong vines bursted from the ground in a circle around Kenshin. They swirled around his legs and arms. The pulling force they exerted caused him to fall to his knees, and watch Yui, his loved one, stare at him one last time then watch her use Hokia to vanish again to the mouth of the forest
