Tears fell form her eyes."No i'm not!i'm always stuck in west HQ doing whatever the b**** han tells me to do!When ever i'm in central,ya i make an effort to see you,but thats like never!And-and"She started to cry on Eds shoulder."You never even pay attention to me anyway,and i just do that becasue i love youuuuuu"She whined.

A huge pang of guilt hit Ed. His hair hid his eyes as he lowered his head in shame. Again he somehow got Brittz off of him, and he walked down the stairs, leaving Brittz there to cry as much as she wanted.
"I dont feel the same way about you." he said quietley right before he walked down.
Ed made it to the bottom and walked over to a corner. He sat down and slumped against it

Brittz face was a irrated red from crying.
"Y-You never even gave me a chance Ed!Ever!"She said saddly,tears swarmming around her.Her legs curled upto her chest,her heart aching with pain.she threw somethinf out of her pocket out to him."I was saving that for Han,For I Assignment,but,i know how you've been looking for evidence of one,i-it's a crimsion stone shard!"She yelled,then burried her face into her knees.
"I don't c-care i-if i wasn't sup-pose to,i don't care about being a state alchemsit a-anymore..."she sobbed.

Ed saw the stone fall to his feet. He picked it up and put it in his pocket, not speaking.
Ed's eyes were skrewed shut, tears dripping. He didnt mean to make her cry. He gritted his teeth, making a fist with his automail arm. He sat there, one knee bent close to his chest, the other laying straight. He rested his elbow on the bent automail leg, depressed.
He didnt know what to say.

The only sound were the tears dripping from brittz eyes onto the floor,
she locked her knees to her chest,her heart aching more and more."I only became a state alchemist t-to see y-ou and h-help others,"she whimpered."I could have just stayed and helped my town,but i was d-determined to fo this..."

Ed didnt speak. He was taking in Brittz's words like he was drinking after having no water for a week.
With tears streaming from his eyes, Ed stood up. His automail foot make a small clank on the floor. Still with his head held lower than before, he walked toward the stairs. He made his way up, as he walked he looked as if he took a beating. He reached for the stone shard in his pocket.
He dropped the stone infront of Brittz's tearing face. Small ploinks were made as she most lilkey saw Ed's tears fall to the cold marble ground. He turned his back to her and began walking down the stairs again.
"........you need this more than I do........I can live with a metal arm and leg........but I cant live knowing that I crushed someone's innocent heart and they still gave me what I am searching for. A broken heart is more painfull than a shattered soul. " He said, with a depressed and shaky tone.
He walked down about five more steps
"....I never wanted to hurt you........and from the bottom of my heart..........Im sorry to have caused such a pain in your heart...."he mumbled
Ed reached the bottom of the staircase, he took a glimpse at Brittz sitting in a ball through his bangs that hid his tearing eyes.
"...If you dont forgive me, I will understand, but at least know that I apologized."
He sat back in the corner he was in before, thinking about what he caused this girl to face.

She stood up,tears streaming,the shard clutched in her hand.
"I-i don't want it!I-It will just remind me of You!!Everything will...."She said,tears streaming.She walked down the steps,taking his hand and enclosing it in it."J-just leave me alone!You did enough ot me already!WHY DID YOU EVER HAVE TO SHOW YOUR FACE IN AQUAROYA!!!"She said angerly.
she stormed up the steps,her heart beating,when she got far enough she just collapsed,her mind freezing with so much in it,her tears streaming from her eyes she whimpered,not gettign up."I..i loved you ed and then you just break everyhting...."she wimpered.

"Listen! You were the one who was obsessed with me at first sight! You were the one who thought I loved you! You were the one who wanted to follow me as much as you can!"
He stood up, punching a hole in the wall.
"I onyl came to Aquaroya to help my brother! And all you care is about you! You dont know what its like to loose your mother! You dont know what its like to try and bring her back and fail as your brother almost dies! You dont know about how long it has taken us to travel the world and not die! YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ME! SO STOP CARING ABOUT YOURSELF AND SUCK IT UP!" he shouted.
Ed walked deeper into the depths of the dungrion, not caring that Brittz was nearley emotionally dead

"Y-Yes i do,ok!I never meet my mom,she died when i was born!!!A-and i never meet my dad either!A-and i don't just care about myself,why do you think I gave you that stone??I care about you too...and i-i always will!"She yelled with her last bits of voice,her chin scrapped."Ed..i admire all the thing you did,and lal the couragw you have...i just wish..that you would..give me a chance.."she said sadly. "Can't you...let me try??"
