To Leave Her

[Tsukasa]

Tsukasa walked nexted Misha in his human form. He had always preferred animal shapes, but this would do. He looked at her she was smiling to herself. I wonder why. She seems so happy here. She had been more somber back home. she must like it here more than I thought.
" Misha, why are you here? Shouldn't you keep from staying in one place for to long?" He asked sternly. He hated the thought of shattering content thoughts. They sat down at a table in the corner.

[Misha]

" Tsukasa, I like it here. I am sure it take a while before they find me. I keep my wings and ears bound. Only Amaya knows about our home. You know I won't tell anyone about you."
Misha smile had disappeared and her eyes became a sorrowful grey colour.

[Tsukasa]

" Misha are you sure. I'm sure the air nation will not attack us. They are not stupid. Why didn't you try to tell anyone about what you found out?"
Tsukasa was afraid that she had tried and they hadn't believed her. It was entirely possible. A lot of people thought she was dishonest. She had never told him why though.

[Misha]

" You know I did. Your smart. We should go outside tonight. It's perfect."
She looked at him with dull eyes.

[Tsukasa]

The look in her eyes was torture to look at for him. It seemed as though her very life force had been drilled at by his words. Her guilt was enormous. Their hearts were intertwined giving him her every pain. He knew that she felt bad about this herself seeing as how she had begged him to sever the bonds made when he became her familiar. It was his price for caring so deeply for her. To leave would hurt them both enormously in more ways than one.

" Misha, that sounds great. When would you like to go." He hoped this would lighten her heart. She loved being outside with him in his more open forms. He hadn't actually seen Misha in her normal form since back then. She looked a bit sadder as a human.

[Misha]

" Not today... but soon. I just have a lot I want to do tonight." Misha looked towards the door to the shining sky. It was beautiful out and she could almost feel the ray back here in the corner of the small cafe.

[Misha]

Misha laughed at her own mistake. She offered to go out at home a lot to. It was habit and she couldn't get it out of her system.
" Sorry to confuse you Tsukasa... Habit." She looked back to him with a warm smile.

[Tsukasa]

Tsukasa just smiled.
" Misha why did you do it?"

[Misha]

Misha grew red in the face. " I... I wanted us to be safe. This is where we are going to stay. As long as I'm in this form they won't find us... Well, I hope not." Misha slumped down in her chair. She looked up pitifuly. " Tsukasa, you can go home. I know it wasn't fair of me to take us away like that... And I know you miss her." Misha tried to smile through her held back tears.

[Misha]

Before Tsukasa could respond she spoke, " You know what I haven't painted or drawn a single thing since I left home. That's probaly why I haven't been acting normal. Maybe one day when there's a chance we can go home to see them all. I... I really would like to see them." Tears rolled out onto hfer cheeks as she stood up. " I think we better go Tsukasa. I have to prepare for a very important event tonight."

[Tsukasa]

" Misha... I... you know I can't go back home. I am your best friend. Don't forget, you saved me. To abandon you would be the same as tearing apart my heart. The heart you gave me. You know she would matter nothing to me if it weren't for you. I would have died." Tsukasa paused and let out a sigh. "I want to see them all to. We are going to go back. Not today though. You said there is an important event, am I right?" Tsukasa wiped away her tears and led her towards the door.

[Misha]

Misha stopped and looked up to Tsukasa. "Thank you Tsukasa."
